Cryptocurrencies that can be withdrawn:
For the purpose of this article, we will be demonstrating the withdrawal of Bitcoin to an external wallet. You may also withdraw with Ethereum, Litecoin or XRP. The process is the same.
Here are five steps to follow when withdrawing your Crypto on the desktop from Coinberry:
1. Choose Withdraw.
From this screen, you have two options for withdrawal:
- Crypto: A wallet gives you ownership of your Bitcoin/Ether balance so that you can send and receive Crypto. Although technically it is nothing more than a mobile app or a computer program, it is essentially the personal bank account and the ATM access point for cryptocurrency.
- EFT/e-Transfer: A convenient way to send and receive money by using your online or mobile banking! All you need is a Canadian bank account that supports e-Transfer.
2. Enter the amount you would like to withdraw.
Make sure to select the correct currency and enter the correct wallet address. Press Preview Order.
3. Preview Order
Review wallet address, withdrawal amount and fees before pressing Send.
Read the text and confirm recipient before pressing I understand.
5. Two Factor Authentication
Enter the code generated by your authenticator application and press “Submit”.
6. Order Completed
A withdrawal order was successfully created. You will now see the order details in your Activity Feed.
Note: In most cases your withdrawal will be processed within 15 minutes. However, for security reasons, certain withdrawals could take up to 1.5 business days to be processed.
