Note: Coinberry has security measures in place to protect our investor’s accounts and their funds on the Coinberry platform. First-time Coinberry investors will experience a 24-hour hold period after funding their account for the first time.
Below is a 4-step guide on how to withdraw your Canadian Dollars (“fiat”) on the desktop version of Coinberry:
1. Choose Withdraw
From this screen, you have two options for withdrawal:
- Crypto: You can withdraw BTC, ETH, LTC or XRP to a wallet, which gives you custody of your cryptocurrency. A wallet is a mobile app or computer program, and essentially is the personal bank account and the ATM card of cryptocurrency.
- EFT/e-Transfer: A convenient way to send and receive fiat money by using your online or mobile banking. All you need is a Canadian bank account that supports Interac e-Transfers.
In the example below, we will be withdrawing Canadian funds with an EFT/e-Transfer.
3. Enter the desired amount.
The minimum amount for Canadian Dollar withdrawals is $100. Once you enter the withdrawal amount, select Preview Withdrawal.
4. Preview e-Transfer
Review the transaction details, verify the withdrawal amount and recipient email address are correct before pressing Send.
5. Two Factor Authentication
To complete the withdrawal, open your authenticator application and enter the six-digit code generated by your authenticator application and press Submit.
6. Order Completed
Your withdrawal order has been successfully created. In most cases your withdrawal will be processed within 15 minutes.
Note: Make sure to save the EFT/e-Transfer Password. To find your password, click here for instructions.
You should receive the funds in your bank account within 30 minutes of us processing the withdrawal, however this processing is controlled by your bank and outside of our control. You can see the order details in your Activity Feed.
Note: In most cases your withdrawal will be processed within 15 minutes. However, for security reasons, certain withdrawals could take up to 1.5 business days to be processed.
