2-Factor Authentication(2FA) is an extra layer of security which requires you to go through 2 steps to verify your identity.
First, you need to login with your username and a password. Then, you will be required to enter a code to authorize the access into your account (or when you withdraw funds).
Having 2FA enabled in your account makes things much harder for potential attackers, as they would not only need your username and password but would also need possession of your 2FA device such as your mobile phone.
There are several authentication methods you can use. The common options are:
- SMS
- Google Authenticator
- Microsoft Authenticator
- Twilio Authy
For a step-by-step guide on how to enable 2FA via an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator, please check this article: How to Enable 2FA in my account.
