As a registered Money Service Business (MSB) with the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC) Coinberry has put into an effect a series of security measures to protect our investor’s accounts and their funds on the Coinberry platform.
Coinberry investors might experience withdrawal restrictions or delays which are used to safeguard investor’s accounts under the following instances:
1. First Funding
Coinberry investors will experience a 24-hour hold period after funding their account for the first time. This hold period does not affect trading. You may continue to buy and sell Bitcoin, Ethereum, DOGE Coin, Cardano, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Stellar on our platform. Once the hold period has been completed, you may proceed to withdraw your crypto or your fiat from your account.

2. Withdrawal minimum
Coinberry investors might experience a withdrawal restriction if the minimum withdrawal hasn’t been met. The minimum withdrawal amount for Canadian Dollar and Crypto amounts are described here.
3. Awaiting response
Coinberry has contacted the user and is awaiting response regarding one or more of the following inquiries.
- Large size withdrawals
- Accounts lacking required Know-Your-Customer (KYC) details
- Waiting on documentation and/or confirmation from user
- Fraud related inquiries
To avoid delays, user should respond to the above-mentioned inquiries as soon as possible.
